DICONO DI ME...

The music I am talking about comes from the band's keyboardist and composer, Luca Zabbini, who has songwriting style that can only improve with age (the average age in this band is something like 24 years old) and technique and chops that would smother a mere mortal. Zabbini is a master at producing impressive layers of keys and is just as good at kicking out blistering organ solos and sensitive and fluid unaccompanied piano passages
Here’s one more stunning surprise out from Italy – Barock Project is the band name, and this is its first outgrowth. Hopefully there will be lots of others from this moment forth. Barock Project is a brain-child of the keyboardist "Luca Zabbini", who has been taking ELP as his main source of inspiration ever since.
The band strongly revolves around keyboard wizard Luca Zabbini, and his use and command of the multi-arrays of keyboards is impressive - and one that recalls the leading protagonists of early 70s prog. His touch on the piano is very reminiscent of Keith Emerson, as well as the choice of sounds he employs. He is also instrumental for the writing of all the material on this DVD (barring the bass/drum solos and those written by ELP and Genesis). |
